Many seniors ask if they can use their senior pictures for their sorority packets. And the answer is a resounding YES! Keep reading to find out how one senior from the Class of 2019 planned her sorority headshots.
I met Bella through one of my Ramsey Senior Models for the Class of 2019. Bella was a student at Stratford High School.
At our planning meeting, Bella told me that she planned to rush in college. So exciting! To complete her rush packets, she needed a solid headshot and full length images.
I was more than happy to accommodate that request! It’s so important to tell your photographer up front what you’re hoping for! Sorority headshots need a different setup than candid pictures. Always plan ahead with your photographer so they know what to expect!
How Bella planned her senior pictures
This fall, Bella heads to Auburn University. Go War Eagles! 🙂 For her sorority packet, she chose a beautiful bright orange with white pants and heels. Auburn’s school colors are navy blue and burnt orange. What a great way to show off her school spirit!
For her hair, Bella kept it close to how she normally wears it, with a few soft curls and a quarter up on the side. Sororities want to see how you look, so keeping it true to you is important!
Bella kept her makeup very natural, and the look turned out great!
We photographed in a location with beautiful light where the focus could be right on Bella. It’s important to not have a lot of distracting elements or props in your headshot.
The day was absolutely perfect for a downtown senior session. We chose Eleanor Tinsley for the beautiful evening light and the flowers in the gardens.
After headshots, the best part of Bella’s session was her two cute pups! Rocky and Tico really stole the show. Bella brought a matching collar to coordinate with her Auburn gear. Too cute!
Congratulations and best of luck next year, Bella!
