I was honored to photograph these two senior guys from Friendswood High School. Cameron and Blake wanted portraits that didn’t look staged. They preferred a natural, woodsy session that was close to home to reflect their down-to-earth personalities. We spent our afternoon in a local Friendswood park and fought back mosquitos in the thickest parts of the woods. Cameron and Blake were extremely accommodating, kind, and easy-going during our session. I had a great time photographing them!
These brothers will be heading to A&M in College Station in the fall. They are the only siblings in the family, so it’s extremely special for them to be headed to the same college together. To have that support system in place immediately will be huge for the two of them. They said they were looking forward to being on their own and being Aggies. I’ll refrain from making any anti-Aggie jokes right here and just say, “Wreck ‘Em, Tech!”
Cameron’s blue eyes are absolutely killer.
Both Cameron and Blake played tennis all four years of high school, receiving several awards throughout the years, but their talents far exceed sports. Cameron is an amazing landscape photographer. His Instagram feed is so great to scroll through. He has a discerning eye for perspective and composition (but zero interest in portraiture! Bummer!). I hope he continues to nurture that skill through college. They were both in the top 10% of their graduating class at Friendswood High School and graduated with honors. They should be so proud of all they have accomplished.
Guys, thanks so much for letting me photograph you this year. Best of luck at A&M!
