McGovern Centennial Gardens Senior Portraits | Brianne

February 26, 2018

Brianne loves flowers and architecture, so we found the perfect place for modern park portraits in downtown Houston.

Brianne represents us as one of The Ramsey Senior Models for the Class of 2018. We have loved getting to know her this year. She is a kind, bright young lady who likes to goof around too. During her shoot, we had a great time exploring the gardens and creating beautiful images.

For starters, Brianne is heavily involved in FFA and raises a beautiful heifer. Recently her heifer gave birth to her precious calf. Initially, we hoped to photograph Brianne with her heifer, but her Mama instincts wouldn’t allow us close to herself or her baby. Several universities have been in close contact with Brianne to try and secure a spot for her with their veterinarian programs. While LSU, A&M, and Texas Tech are all vying for her, we have our fingers crossed that Brianne will attend Tech (Paige’s alma mater). Brianne wants to wait and keep thinking about her possibilities. We know this decision is an important one and can weigh heavy on the hearts of our seniors. The future seems uncertain at times, but we know that wherever Brianne chooses to study, she will go far!

So, Brianne can clean out cow pens all day long, but at the end of the day, she always connects with her more feminine side. She incorporated her basket of roses into her session. This was the same basket that her mother laid her in as a newborn during her baby shower. Sentimental touches like these pull at my heartstrings in the greatest way and add true meaning to one’s senior portraits. Looking back at these pictures five or fifteen years down the road, the significance of that story will always speak to their family.

Most of all, we hope you enjoyed these modern park portraits! Be sure to book your session with us ASAP to make sure we have a spot for you this fall! You can contact us here.
