Ashley wanted lively portraits in a park to fit her personality. She wanted to stay local, so we hit up one of the best parks in Friendswood: 1776 Park. I shoot here all the time, but the light and beautiful trails never disappoint.
There are some people who you can just tell right away have a gentle spirit. Ashley talked unguarded and laughed freely during her session. She radiates positivity and joy, two traits that will serve her so well in the coming years at college.
I loved this blue dress she chose. Bold, contrasting colors can look amazing when paired correctly with skin tone. With Ashley’s beautiful skin and hair, this bright blue looks absolutely stunning. For portraits taken in the late fall, when the grass has lost its luster, you need bright colors like this to draw the eye back to you.
It’s easy to get lively park portraits at 1776 Park because the light there is just so amazing. It’s really hard to find a bad place to shoot. The only thing you have to look out for are mosquitos, but if it’s the right time of year, or if you are prepared heavily with bug spray, ultimately it’s no problem!
I had so much fun with this girl!
So for Ashley’s birthday and as a graduation present, her parents treated her to a trip to Australia (!!!) and she went skydiving! (1) Those are some amazing parents and (2) Way to go, Ashley! You are so brave.
One of my best memories from this session is Ashley’s laugh. She truly is such a sweet spirited young lady. I am so excited for her next adventure after high school. I know she will go far and do great things!
We have just a few spots left this spring! Contact us here to get more information about our sessions and see our availability.
