The Brown family wanted their family portraits at 1776 Park in Friendswood, TX. Their session is in stark contrast to Ashley’s modern senior portrait session in Buffalo Bayou Park downtown. The Browns wanted a mix of classic and candid portraits. After rescheduling several times due to the crazy Houston winter weather, we finally landed a day that was absolutely beautiful.
One of the best things about having family portraits at 1776 Park is the variety that the trails and open fields allow. Wil and I both favor this park over all the other parks in Friendswood because of the gorgeous evening light. The trees let in just enough sparkle to make beautiful golden images. We photograph in parks all the time, and it amazes me the variety of greens that exist in nature. The green of the leaves at 1776 Park are unmatched anywhere else around town.
These family portraits at 1776 Park were extremely special for Ashley’s mom because Ashley graduates this May and everything changes for their family of four. Next year Ashley will be attending college close to home.
I absolutely adore these parents! They are both so genuine and kind to everyone they meet and to each other. #relationshipgoals
Claudette found this location while I was photographing Ashley. Really, it’s my new favorite place at 1776 Park!
And below is Claud 2.0. 😉
Hi. This family is gorgeous.
The sweetest family you ever will meet! I love the Browns and I can’t wait to photograph Andrew his senior year!
Y’all, your son or daughter’s senior year is the ideal time for family portraits. This is the last year your family will be together consistently. The next time you’ll be having family portraits will most likely be at their wedding! (in which case, give us a call again for their wedding day.
